Job Profile

Exciting, full time, opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated and highly analytical individual, preferably an engineer or engineering technician. Primary responsibilities include pursuing and developing new business opportunities. Reporting to VP Sales, the individual must have the ability to work independently in an effort to grow the position. Based in our corporate office in North York, the successful candidate will travel to clients in and around Toronto.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Research and pursue new business opportunities, with a focus on upcoming anchor related construction projects, as a member of UCAN’s sales team
  • Introduce & present UCAN fasteners to engineers in an effort to have those anchors specified
  • Conduct product seminars at engineering firms
  • Provide technical support to engineers, customers and sales representatives
  • Define customer requirements and suggest appropriate fastener
  • Perform other related tasks, as required


  • A University Engineering degree or College Technical Diploma an asset
  • Previous industry experience in similar products and services an asset
  • Previous experience as a Sales/ Customer Service Representative an asset
  • Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Presentable, friendly, well-spoken and professional
  • Valid drivers’ licence
